MPSM

The new face of technology for monitoring and control of water / wastewater pump stations. It combines the best of a pump controller, PLC and RTU with an intuitive user interface and provides a wealth of data to any SCADA system.

The MultiSmart range of products is the result of a £2.5million development project and over 20 years of experience in control and monitoring technology for water and wastewater pump stations. Many authorities have found that using PLCs to control and monitor pump stations results in a high lifetime cost. Operations staff are also frustrated by having a "black box" which cannot be changed without calling out an engineer. The MultiSmart pump station manager has an intuitive interface for operators and engineers. There is no programming required, instead, the station performance is adjusted by turning on features and changing parameters.

Saves panel cost by integrating control panel components:
Three phase voltage monitoring, phase fail, under- and over-voltage protection.
Flexible I/O for pump seal, thermal, Flygt FLS & CLS, MultiTrode probe or any other level device.
Optional three-phase current monitoring and insulation resistance test.
Expandable to 1000 I/O.
Go green with MultiSmart:
Cuts power bills.
Reduces CO2 emissions.
Options:
Full open-protocol DNP3 RTU.
Flow - inflow and outflow measurements without the need for flow meters.
VFD control.
Power monitoring, motor protection and insulation resistance testing.
Pump efficiency accumulators in litres or gals per kWHr (requires motor protection   flow options).
Logic engine for user customization.

Testimonials

"The City of Tavares has been using the Multismart products for just under a year. I can't imagine how we did it before; we can now monitor and control every station with speed and with the accuracy of information we require. We have also found the flow calculations invaluable for I&I studies during rain events. Our experience with the product and tech support to date has been excellent. We highly recommend Multitrode and its products. The City of Tavares have standardized on MultiTrode products and stand by them."

Brad Hayes, Utilities Director & Jerry Blair, Supervisor, City of Tavares, FL.

"We have tested and installed 6 Multismart pump station managers over the past 6 months and I wish to let you know that we have been very pleased with the performance and ease of installation. The field staff have saw the benefits over float controls, and over our next water plan we will be looking to convert all our stations. The specification for sewer stations now incorporates the Multismart as standard for pumping station management and control. For the past 12 years in the UK, with Scottish Water, I installed only the Siemens Enviroranger (LUC 500).This is an excellent and reliable pump controller, however, after testing Multismart, we have been pleased to find it is reliable, easier for operators to use, and offers additional monitoring capabilities over any other pump controllers I have used."

Frank Mc Shane, Manager of Operations, East Gippsland Water Authority.

"The MultiSmart installation was the easiest thing I ever did."

Richard Guest, East Bay Regional Park District, CA.

"We chose MultiSmart over all the other products on the market because it had so many features and was so easy to remotely monitor. The PumpView on-line SCADA system allows me to view and control my pump stations via a web browser wherever I am."

John Deaton, Asst. Utilities Director, City of Lake Alfred, FL

"Someone has finally put all the versatility (previously available only with a custom programmed PLC) into a user configurable platform. From simple to complex, this unit handles it all. The wealth of pump station operational information available to the end user is virtually limitless."
